This product is insufficiently described as "1/2 inch copper." The sweat end is indeed correct for 1/2 inch copper pipe. However, the other end of the adapter is 3/8 inch NPT not 1/2 inch NPT. That important distinction is not clear in the description or specifications for the product.I had no issues with these. Will buy this brand again.There were several minor scratches on the threads of each fitting, but so far they have sealed well, with no leaks using teflon tape on the first try. Works for me.These fittings were ordered because the ones i had bought at Lowe's turned out to be packaged wrong. Good fit and good price.Not great quality but works well. The quality of the finish seems rough.only got 1 fitting, should have been 5 as advertised(5 pack).
