I live in a hot climate and wear cotton Bermuda shorts all summer long. I had purchased several pairs of these kind of shorts over a period of time from another vendor on Amazon. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, the colors and availability from this vendor have been disappointing. I found these Viodia cotton Bermuda shorts by chance. And they had a bunch of colors in my size (a large), so I ordered 3 pairs - yellow, turquoise (which is really a pale blue) and the gray-purple color. I'm happy with these shorts. The fabric is a soft light cotton, not see-through, and has stretch. I was afraid the waist band might be too tight based on some reviews but I found the waist band in a size large to be comfortable (my waist is about 31"). May order a few more!
