First off, this is Not a bad robe but there are a couple of misses in the design. The belt loops are so high that I had to laugh!..They are about 3" under the armits! its hilarious to see in the mirror and useless to try to wear the belt unless you want it tied around your nipples! Second, the material is Not soft and is a bit rough on the skin..Not terribly so, but not as soft and comfortable as other terry cotton robes..thirdly, this is suppossed to be 400gsm material and a heavy thick robe....It is not...I have no way of verifying the 400gsm, but I can tell you its a tick above medium weight at best but Not a heavyweight robe by any means..Lastly, the shrinkage was not bad, I picked the navy XL size and I am 5ft 7.5". and 180 at current weight.. usually im 165... anyway the fit was good out of box, withthe sleeves being a tad long for my arms..However when washed the sleeves fit perfect, not too baggy and correct length to my wrists.. The wrap however, was just ok and there was now a tightness and pull around the shoulder area if I were to raise my arms.. maybe even one size larger would be in order.. Also wanted to mention that it unthreads Really easily..I went to pick off some debris and the threads came out with it... One more thing of serious concern..When my package arrived, i opened it and found the bathrobe had debris on it..I mean inside the plastic wrapping..the robe itself looked like food debris and bits were all over it....I can say It Really grossed me out because it looked like someone had worn it b4 while eating chips on their couch...In this time of the corona virus scares, none of us want to be recieving such things that may have had use by others! I washed it immediately but That was a huge turnoff.. I will likely be returning it and cant recommend this robe for the resons above and the crazy belt loops designed for midgets with no torso... pass on this one.....Im adding a followup to this original review: I had tried to initiate a Return with amazon and they said the return shipping would Not be covered as it was thru a 3rd party seller and up to them...they tried to contact the seller for me but its just gone round and round with the seller saying they would accept returns but They havent offered to pay return shipping or give a label...this is the 1st time this has happened to me with an amazon purchase and Very dissapointing... I would Not buy from these sellers in future because of thier return policy...The right size, comfortable and warm.This XL isn't bigger than the L we previously ordered. Must be returned.Comfortable, good fit, and looks great. If you're looking for a proper size small that doesn't fit like a tarp like those "one size fits most" robes, this is a nice one to get.Brought these for use with hot tub. They absorb the water well and are nice md warm on cooler nights.This robe started falling apart almost immediately. I have had it for 4 months and there are huge holes in it now and it’s unwearable.I am a medium but ordered a large and it is a good fit. Quality better than expected. This is a heavy terry cloth and is a great product.This bathrobe is a super buy for the money! It is just great Terry Cotton Cloth!It is great in all ways for me! Thanks, rg/gp
